A new poll from OH Predictive Insights shows that 38% of Arizona residents do not want to take a COVID-19 vaccine, another 38% said they would get the vaccine, and 23% are undecided.
According to the poll people over the age of 55 are more likely to be willing to take the vaccine, but it is still not a majority with 43% saying they would be willing to take it.
The poll showed that 54% of voters would be willing to take a vaccine developed in the United States. Thirty-four percent of voters said they would take only vaccines developed in this country.
The poll also showed a decrease in the number of voters that are “extremely” or “moderately” concerned about the spread of the novel coronavirus in Arizona. In August, 61% of voters were concerned, in September that number dropped to 55%. More Democrats, 87%, expressed concerns than Republicans, 24%, about the spread of the virus.
