AMOS LEE WITH CALEXICO The Fox Tucson Theatre presents a premiere simulcast broadcast – Amos Lee with Calexico Live from the Artists Den, Saturday, March 3 at 8 p.m.

Amos Lee with Calexico Live from the Artists Den is a premiere simulcast broadcast with Ready TV, Arizona Public Media’s new 24-hour lifestyle channel located on Cox 83, Comcast 201 and Broadcast 6-3.

General admission tickets are free to the public; doors will open at 7 p.m. with the broadcast starting at 8 p.m. The Fox Theater is organizing a post-screening concert and details will be forthcoming.

The original concert was taped by Live from the Artists Den, Live at the Fox Tucson Theatre on August 23, 2011 as part of the fourth season of the innovative music series. The acclaimed singer-songwriter came back to the city where he recorded his “Mission Bell” album, and invited a number of his friends to join the show, including local heroes Calexico. The 19-song concert ranged from solo showcases to arrangements for a dozen musicians, and featured highlights from Lee’s latest album, as well as some of the finest songs from his catalogue.
