Davies founded the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame group The Kinks with his brother Dave in 1963. The band continued releasing CDs into the early ’90s and their signature songs, including “You Really Got Me” and “All Day and All of The Night,” are iconic. Earlier this year, he released his first solo CD, Other People’s Lives, featuring songs recorded over the course of the last few years.
