Republican Jeff Flake and Democrat Richard Carmona are tied at 38 percent each in a new poll measuring support in the U.S. Senate race in Arizona.

The poll, by Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling, was commissioned by the League of Conservation Voters, which is endorsing Carmona. It shows 25 percent of those asked to be undecided in the race.

Flake, a U.S. representative, is considered the GOP frontrunner over Wil Cardon and two other candidates.

Carmona, a former U.S. surgeon general, is unopposed in the Democratic primary election.
