National 'Arts in Crisis' Tour here

Public forum tour focuses on Tucson and Pima County on Monday, April 12 at 9 am at the UA Stevie Eller Dance Theatre.

Michael W. Kaiser, president of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, will be in Tucson to present the “Arts in Crisis” public forum on Monday, April 12 at The University of Arizona. Kaiser is known as the “turn-around king” for his track record of eliminating a $30 million historic deficit for the Royal Opera House in the United Kingdom – after he’d already eliminated deficits for the American Ballet Theatre and Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. Forum is hosted by Bill Buckmaster.

AZPM will air the event LIVE on PBS World Channel 27-3 (Comcast 203 and Cox 83) and will stream live video online at the On Demand video page of the Arizona Public Media website.

UPDATE: This informative event will rebroadcast on the UA Channel beginning Wednesday, April 14. The UA Channel is on Comcast 76 and Cox 116, and the airtimes can be found here.
