Marana schools' budget for new year; Pima County-Marana waste-water settlement; no political labels group.

MARANA SCHOOL BUDGET: Marana Unified School District Chief Financial Officer Dan Contorno talks about the district’s budget for the year, including what impacts the state budget had on education spending in the district this year.

PIMA/MARANA WASTE-WATER SETTLEMENT: Pima County and the town of Marana settled a years-long legal and political battle about which entity should own a waste-water treatment plant in Marana. John Bernal, deputy county administrator, and Gilbert Davidson, Marana's town manager, discuss decision to allow Marana run the plant, the $18 million settlement.

PARTISANSHIP OUT OF POLITICS: No Labels is an organization that strives to take partisanship out of politics so voters and elected officials focus on issues instead of taking sides. The Tucson chapter of the organization emerged about two years ago.
