FOOD AS MEDICINE: Colleen Juhara was in her early forties. She had no known health problems, but suddenly she suffered nightly grand mal seizures. Medication didn't help much. Then, Juhara met a naturopathic physician who put her on a diet that had a very positive effect on her health.

FOOD SECURITY: Policymakers and scientists from all over the world gathered in Washington, D.C. in April for the G-8 International Conference on Open Data for Agriculture. The conference calls on global leaders to consider agricultural data: how to share it; how to use it; and how it might help address global food security. Three experts discussed why the meeting matters to Arizona.
