Arizona Spotlight

KUAZ's Nelson Warnell remembers University of Arizona basketball player Shawntinice Polk, who passed away suddenly Monday (Sept. 26) of a pulmonary blood clot. Julie Bierach has a special report on the First Class Education Initiative that is making its way to the November 2006 ballot, and KUAZ's Robert Rappaport has a feature story on illegal dumping in Pima County, and what officials are doing about it. Also on the program, KUAZ's Mark McClemore has a look at what's going on in Tucson this weekend, and Baxter Black's commentary entitled, "Triggernometry."
