AZ WEEK EXTRA: College Students React to Budget Issues

One UA student's story: Supporting family and getting by on less than $30 extra every two weeks.

University of Arizona students say they fear that state budget cuts will hit them in the pocketbook with higher tuition and fees.

Several students spoke with AZPM's Sandra Westdahl, including UA junior Mercedes Galarza, who said she barely scrapes by with her federal education grant, student loans and part-time jobs.
