Celtic Woman: Songs from the Heart

Celtic Woman vocalists Lisa Kelly, Chloe Agnew, Lynn Hilary and Alex Sharpe, with violinist Mairead Nesbitt, perform at Ireland's historic Powerscourt House and Gardens. Saturday, June 5 at 8 p.m. on PBS-HD.

The musical repertoire ranges from spirited Celtic fiddle and bodhran pieces to lush arrangements of Irish classics, contemporary covers and original compositions. In addition to the six-piece band, the Aontas Choir, a film orchestra, the Discovery Gospel Choir, the Extreme Rhythm Drummers and a bagpipe ensemble join Celtic Woman for this event.

Celtic Woman will be coming to Tucson September 7, 2010 at the TCC Arena, beginning at 7:30 pm. Pledge $125 during Songs from the Heart to get one special seating ticket. Seating is on a first come first serve basis, going from the front row to the back.
