University of Arizona President Dr. Robert Shelton says the federal stimulus funding has created or preserved the equivalent of just more than 155 full-time jobs at the UA during the quarter the ended on March 31. The number of those employed is actually higher since many of the positions are part-time, many of which are filled by students working in campus laboratories.
During his interview with Arizona Public Media, Dr. Shelton also assesses the university's financial situation at the start of the new fiscal year this week.
