British actress Patricia Routledge recounts the life story of internationally beloved children’s author Beatrix Potter. A passionate fan and Patron of the Beatrix Potter Society, Routledge presents viewers with a close-up look at Potter’s illustrations, the Cumbrian farmland she called home, and even a personal journal begun during her teenage years. Released in 2016 to commemorate her 150th birthday, the program also ties into the release of The Tale of Kitty-In-Boots, a story that was written just before World War I but never published during the lifetime of its remarkable author.
