President Obama to address the Nation

The PBS NewsHour will provide coverage of President Obama’s address to the nation, on Tuesday, August 31 at 5 p.m. on PBS-HD. by Colleen Greer

Following the address, Mark Shields and David Brooks will analyze and discuss reaction to the speech.

The NewsHour will provide an updated hour-long program at 6 p.m., which will include highlights from the President’s address.
