Under the baton of conductors Keitaro Harada, Jackson Warren and David Dunbar, the Arizona Symphony Orchestra will open its concert season on September 25th with an exciting program featuring works by Mexico's most popular composers, Chávez, Revueltas and Galindo, among others.

The works included in the program are "Sensemayá" by Silvestre Revueltas, "Homenaje a Copland" by Humberto Hernández-Medrano, "Sinfonía India" by Carlos Chávez, "Sones de Mariachi" by Blas Galindo, "Huapango" by José Pablo Moncayo and "Danzón 2" by Arturo Márquez.

The concert is co-sponsored by the Mexican Consulate in Tucson, The Symphony Women's Association, the University of Arizona Office of International Affairs, and Arizona Public Media/V-me televisión pública en español.
