Thirty-eight-year-old Alvaro Lopez Nunez was indicted on heroin and methamphetamine trafficking charges. He is the brother of Damaso Lopez, the heir apparent of the Sinaloa Cartel after the re-arrest of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán in 2016.
