The Miracle Mile District is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
The area bounded by Stone Avenue, Drachman Street, Oracle Road and Miracle Mile is marked by historic hotels and neon signs reminiscent of a bygone era.
The area includes what historians call "iconic examples of roadside architecture."
The listing on the National Register of Historic Places means federal tax credits are now available for the rehabilitation of buildings in the area.
