Depression: Out of the Shadows

The 90-minute PBS program explores the crippling effects of this condition – not only to the patients themselves but also to their family, friends, and co-workers. Wednesday, May 28th 8:00 p.m.

The documentary tells the dramatic stories of people of different ages and backgrounds who live with various forms of depression — and explores the causes, treatments and reasons for hope. Among those with depressive disorders who are profiled in the film is Andrew Solomon.
