Dr. Bonnie Hurwitz, Ph.D, Assistant Professor, Biosystems Engineering talked with Leslie Tolbert, Ph.D, Regents Professor Emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona. They discussed how Dr. Hurwitz uses computer science to find out more about the hidden aspects of microbes.
Microbes include both good and bad bacteria that exist in our bodies. Dr. Hurwitz is collecting data leading to new discoveries about microbes and how they can cause or inhibit disease.
