A team of genomic researchers is uncovering where and how the coronavirus emerged in Arizona. University of Arizona evolutionary biologist Mike Worobey says the group traced the state's COVID-19 clusters back to a number of entry points in late February and early March, and concluded the virus came to Arizona from the United States and from Europe.
Mike Worobey spoke with Tim Swindle, director of the Lunar Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona.
