WaveLengths: Our Changing World

Local science series continues exploration of some of the most important scientific issues of the day with premiere of third episode on Sunday, Jan. 25th 6pm on PBS-HD

The third installment of a quarterly news magazine covering the Southern Arizona scientific community focuses on global warming studies being conducted by renowned scientists right here in Southern Arizona.

WaveLengths: Our Changing World features stories on:

  • What retreating glaciers in in the Patagonia region of Argentina tell us about climate change
  • Environmental pressures on the desert tortoise
  • How detailed images of Mars can help us understand our planet
  • What it takes to inspire students to become scientists
