Tch programming is observational, documentary and character-driven, harnessing the best narrative qualities of compelling television. It is real life unfolding - mostly, but not always, inside the classroom - in front of the camera. Tch provides an entirely new and authentic dimension to professional development and teacher preparation. Tch programs currently focus predominantly (not exclusively) on English Language Arts (and the use of English in other curriculum subjects), math, science and social studies at grades 3 through 8. There will also be programs on the arts; and the age-range featured will extend to include grades K through 2 and 9 through 12.

The Teaching Channel is featured on WORLD, broadcast channel 27.3, Comcast channel 203, and Cox channel 83 and on the UA Channel, Comcast 116.
