Tiny Homes for Ex-Foster Youth

In order to combat the widening economic gap, organizations like I Am You 360 are finding creative ways to providing housing for underserved populations in our community.

I Am You 360 is a tiny home development organization that provides housing for youths (age 18-22) transitioning out of the Tucson Foster Care system. The idea is to buy the land and to bank half of each resident’s $1 per-square-foot rent, which they pay on the 450-square-foot home, into a savings account that they can later use for a down payment on a starter home of their own once they’re ready to move out. I Am You 360 believes in empowering the whole person by utilizing programs like self-improvement, financial stability, and community services to create generational change.
