Fernanda Echavarri, AZPM
The Pima Animal Care Center has suspended on-site adoptions due to an outbreak of illnesses, but animals housed at an off-site location will be available Saturday, and fees will be waived for all pets, including puppies and kittens.
A standard $17 licensing fee will apply to adult dogs.
The animals come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, with a microchip and a free visit veterinarian visit.
PACC's adoption party is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tucson Spectrum PetSmart store, 1175 W. Irvington Road.
None of the animals up for adoption has been exposed to the outbreak at the main shelter.
