Donald Glenn Brown pleaded guilty in April to a charge of attempting to make a terroristic threat and was sentenced Tuesday in Navajo County Superior Court.
The schools were tools of the U.S. government's attempts to erase tribal culture. But the few that remain have become places Native families want their children to attend.
During the 20th annual Migrant Trail Walk, participants walked 75 miles, from Sásabe, Sonora, to Tucson to call for changes in immigration policy that would end migrant deaths on the U.S.-Mexico border.
