The change comes after state lawmakers passed legislation saying that parents may sue governmental entities for infringing on their right to direct their child’s upbringing.
U.S. District Judge John Tuchi agreed with the American Civil Liberties Union and multiple media organizations that the law appeared to violate the First Amendment.
The unanimous ruling means the public may never know much of what lawmakers were telling the contractors hired to recount 2.1 million ballots from Maricopa County.
